Built under the stewardship of two families, run as four divisions.
Incorporated under the Companies Act (Cap 486), Laws of Kenya, Frembu Poultry Farm has grown from a backyard broiler operation into the region's leading vertically integrated poultry company.
Start small, dream big
Frembu Poultry Farm has had tremendous growth under the stewardship of Fredrick Kinyanjui Mbugua and Peter Mbugua Muchiri, the company's CEO and sole proprietor. What started as a broiler chicken farm is today a thriving, full-service operation stretching across the poultry value chain.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step — a proverb Frembu has taken to heart in its dream to own and operate a large-scale broiler farming operation, and one we continue to share as a fledgling broiler grower.

Sales & Marketing

Sources inputs and manages inventory across all farm and processing sites.
Production & Quality Assurance

People must eat
As a consumer foods venture, Frembu has a natural buffer against high inflation, currency devaluation and a dynamic political environment — the desire for high-quality, affordable, safe meals does not diminish. Kenya's poultry market continues to witness a deficit in supply, and local consumption remains well below global averages, so our outlook for continued expansion remains positive.
From grandparents and parents to hatcheries, broilers and processing, Frembu brings a safe, healthy and globally competitive offering to the table — built on a fully vertically integrated approach.
